Research and Innovation
Based at our Melbourne Campus the Department of Research & Innovation provides a range of research consultancy services throughout the Asia - Pacific region specialising in knowledge management and professional development.
As an outcome from our Research & Innovation Department, MIFM has developed an international networked specialist management group and solutions provider, offering high-level service delivery for resource infrastructure improvement programs.
The systematic project management skill set developed by MIFM has established a unique and diverse leadership in environmental and business solutions which are recognised globally. The focus is to provide independent and objective consultancy services for clients to:
- proactively recognize early warnings of potential threats and risks,
- offer collaborative strategic solutions to protect and improve a customer’s infrastructure, operations, assets and the environment,
- knowledge management for universities and institutions through undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum design, implementation, professional development and utilisation of our international education network.
Director of Research and Innovation: Dr Gary Dansie
Dr Gary Dansie has over 25 years experience in Education and Training. After
attaining formal education qualifications, Gary embarked on a career of teaching in education & training across a broad range of educational settings.
Positions encompassing the administrative aspects of education were undertaken after which Gary undertook graduate studies in educational policy and leadership, adult education and research at the Ohio State University based in the United States of America.
This graduate study combined with University lecturing roles enabled Gary to experience all levels of education in an academic and practical sense.
Dr. Dansie brings an insightful business approach grounded with a solid academic background to assist clients with the most difficult and demanding tasks. Areas of expertise that have been developed over the past 25 years include; Business Process Re-engineering, Business Intelligence, Market Research, Knowledge Management, Information Management, Project Management and Executive Management.
